Berry popsicle

Posted on December 28, 2014

This is probably my last post and look in 2014. We took these pictures with Magda a week ago in Soho. I was wearing a long, black, belted coat with a berry popsicle fur scarf and Nicholas Kirkwood Iris loafers. I can’t deny it, I’m a bit obsessed with all Charlotte Simone scarves, I could wear every single colour, or I should say, flavour.

As it’s my last post this year I want to thank you for all the support, all positive comments. I’m glad you have been reading my blog for almost 7 years now, following me on Instagram & Facebook which nowadays are a big part of my life. I share with you not only my outfits but also my life. Your positive feedback is amazing and very inspiring. Thanks to you, my dear readers, I love my job and wake up every day with smile on my face. Wish you all the best in 2015!

Babe, it’s cold outside!

Posted on December 7, 2014

Let not kid ourselves. It’s freezing cold outside. Hence the black tights. Actually tights are not as unfashionable as everyone thinks. I used to think like this but I got inspired having seen the last Saint Laurent campaign which features these ‘cheap’ tights and made them into something cool and elegant. Because honestly we all wear black tights during winter time and we shouldnt be embarassed of showing us how we are. Another winter essential is a wrist watch, as mine from Marc by Marc Jacobs ( via The Watch Hut) . It’s handy when it’s really cold and I don’t want to take hands out of my pockets to check the time on my Iphone; I simply peek on my wrist watch. That’s smart, isn’t it?
And ultimate winter basic, a warm fur jacket to take you through the coldest months. Have a nice and warm weekend!

Monica Vinader necklace

Posted on November 23, 2014

It was probably the last such a beautiful autumn day in Notting Hill when we took these pictures. Today it’s raining and the temperature went down, so all the colourful leaves will disappear very soon. I always say that I don’t like autumn, because it’s getting colder, the days are shorter and winter is just around the corner. Although I can’t deny that autumn is a very photogenic time of a year and makes places that we pass by everyday look different and inspire us.
I’m still in the same mood as it comes to clothes I wear recently. It’s all about black and white. I’ve replaced shorts with skinny jeans and usually add new accessories to make me feel a bit different. Today it’s a gold necklace from Monica Vinader. The best thing about it that you can create your own combination of chains and pendants using a necklace builder. I’m all about tiny jewellery, so I chose three little pendants with a thin gold chain. Nothing makes a woman feel more elegant than a pair of sexy heels and beautiful golden jewellery.
Another thing that needs to be mentioned is this gorgeous bag from Valentino. I absolutely love it just make every single look complete. My friend once said pointing a finger at it that it looks like a parrot from the distance, and truth be told, I think it does look a bit like a tropical bird. A nice summery touch to my rainy day outfit.

At launch party

Posted on November 7, 2014

(wearing New Look sequin dress and Isabel Marant boots )

Last night I had a chance to attend the New Look Oxford Circus Store re-launch event. It was all very fun, spending time with the girls over a drink, and listening to Jake, Jack and Lola from X-Factor perform live. Before the main event I had the pleasure of getting #partyready with New Look, having my hair and make up done to look like a proper party girl for the night. I was wearing a sequin dress from the new Party collection which is available to buy now in-store and online.

The photos are, clockwise from the left, me and my beautiful Frenchie Adenorah at the hair and make up venue in Covent Garden, my outfit for the night during the party and a backstage shot from a video set for New Look.

Live in Levi’s

Posted on October 28, 2014

I was asked by Levi’s to style a pair of jeans from their new AW14 collection as part of the #liveinlevis global campaign which I’m sure you all have heard about. It’s about different people around a world celebrating moments in Levi’s clothes. I got my first pair of Levi’s when I was 13. These were high waisted light blue jeans, just a classic piece. A few years later I found second hand Levi’s denim shorts which have since become a key piece in my wardrobe. I wear them every summer and photograph them for my blog, so you can see a few outfits year by year with me wearing the same Levi’s shorts ( here , here , here or here ). They always bring back good memories. We took these pictures with James in Notting Hill a few days ago. As you know I’m not a big fan of autumn and I’m already counting the days till spring, but Notting Hill got me! I love its autumn colours. I was wearing the black skinny jeans from Levi’s AW14 collection and I just love how perfectly they fit me. Jeans are such an important staple for autumn and thanks to Levi’s every girl no matter what body shape can find the perfect pair for her.

Now it’s your turn, I’d love to know your Levi’s stories too!
