White sneakers

Posted on June 1, 2014

( wearing Urban Outfitters playsuit ( similiar here ), Nike Air Force

White sneakers can definitely look chic. For many people white sneakers are a flagship footgear of chavvs and trashy teens. But now they’re fighting their way back into fashion. Look at Saint Laurent for example, they managed to make the double trouble of white and ankle sneakers look cool and trendy. These nikes air force are both ridiculously comfy and stylish. It’s a win win situation. And just now, FootLocker launched their white collection, featuring all white everything kinda shoes. They are brilliant, so many to pick from. I guess though my choice was good choice, what do you guys think?

On another note, playsuits were never really my thing. Well, except when I was about 5 and my mum made me wear a pair. Now, just like the sneakers, they are really in. Especially in the summer, it’s probably the most perfect outfit idea for hot summery days (though we haven’t seen many of those in London). Anyways, I guess sneakers and playsuits will be my summer idea. I would like my coats and baggy jumpers to take a bow, I’ll see you guys in October!

Striped blazer

Stripes are definitely my favourite pattern on clothes of all times ( example here ) . They are classy and simple, but at the same time not boring. I fell in love with this PJ’s inspired, striped blazer when I saw it on the website last week. Wearing night-to-day clothes is the best thing I could imagine ( remember my Poplin shirt! ) . It is comfortable and chic, yet not sloppy which can easily happen when the cut is too casual. The fabric is light and soft, so I could literally spent a whole day in it. This kind of look reminds me of St. Tropez, French Riviera and Cote d’Azure, the beauty mood, light breeze and sun. It’s so in!

The colour code of the look was a result of Dove Colour App which picks the colours that best suit your skin tone. I simply took a pic of my skin and uploaded it to the app, which then picked my shades for me. The results were white, pink and pastel blue, so I decided to go with the advice and the result, I must say, was great. What do you think? I think these colours suit me so well, because they go great with my light complexion and delicate features. Also they make me feel good in what I wear and are pretty neutral so they go well with whatever colour the accessories are. You should all do it, it’s great fun, and you will find out for once if your favourite colours should be your favs after all 🙂

Calvin Klein sweatshirt

I have that kind of 90’s vibe in my blood. That’s why I was thinking about the classic oldschool sweatshirt from CK for a long time. Here it is! It’s not exactly the classy oldschool vintage one, because I found it in the mens section this season, but I think it’s still cool and has that 90’s touch to it. I wore it with All Saints leather skirt & furry heels from &Other Stories, which I bought a few months ago in their London store. I usually choose simple and classic shoes but this time decided to break this rule and go for wowz.

Anchor blazer // Soho

Posted on April 29, 2014

I haven’t taken any blog photos in Soho for a while. I was runinng around press days last week and in between I managed to take a few shots of my outfit to show you the new Acne Boy Studs Anchor blazer . I matched it up with denim shorts, to make it less elegant and more me. Although I wouldn’t say no to these Acne anchor shorts ( or trainers …) to match the set, I keep an eye on them!

Queen Mary’s Gardens

Posted on April 22, 2014

Spring inspires me so much. What can I say, green gets me going. The Queen Mary’s Gardens in Regents Park is probably the most beautiful place in London at the moment. I took a day off and left Notting Hill for the blooming trees and intense greens of this lovely park. It makes me feel like I’m back in Poland, by the lake in an amazing forest by the lake. It’s magical. I was wearing a little black dress (like Coco said, you can never go wrong on a little black dress), Balenciaga boots and a furry beast of a bag. I love open back dresses, which I think will totally be ‘in’ this season. The modest front and a sexy back (oh hey there Justin T.) work so well together I might buy a few more of those.

Just wanted to give you guys a quick update on my online auctions. As you know I’m listing on Vinted ( CLICK HERE for my auctions) which is an online clothing resale app ( Iphone & Androids). It’s so good. Genuinely 100% stamp of approval. It’s so easy to list auctions. Unlike otherapps of this sort where you have to fill in a billion boxes. Also there’s no listing fee! How good is that ! It’s also a nice place to chat to other users; the Vinted forum is for all fashion lovers. You can chat to people about spring essentials, music and lifestyle. It’s great! You don’t need to use it to list stuff but it’s great help if you’re looking for something specific. Also many other bloggers have their accounts there which is cool as you can browse high fashion as well as well known high street brands. I’d recommend Vinted to everyone who’s up to cleaning their closet and earning a few quid.
