Off the shoulder / New York, Crosby Street

Off the shoulder trend has been officially announced as one of the biggest trends for SS16 and I couldn’t be more happy. I love having bare shoulders while still looking elegant. As someone once said “it’s the right amount of sexy meeting sweet” which means nothing other than a perfect balance for me. I never wear midi length skirts, only ultra short, but in this case off the shoulder cropped top made up for it – mini skirt would be too much, while longer style makes the whole look elegant and sexy in a good way. I was wearing this outfit during 3rd day of New York Fashion Week in September. A few days later I found myself featured all over the Internet, from Elle, W Magazine to Tommy Tom website. That was a pleasure.

Madrid diary

You probably are freezing cold right now because autumn has arrived, no doubt about that, so I decided to warm you up by posting my photos from my trip to Madrid in August. I stayed at my favourite Posada Del Dragon boutique hotel in La Latina, in an old part of the city and definitely my favourite area. Just a walking distance from Plaza Mayor with its beautiful little streets around. It was almost 40 degrees Celsius while we took these photos, I was wearing a black lace dress, heeled sandals and crochet backpack from Wool & The Gang. Now I’m switching into ‘winter mode’. No shorts or lace dresses anymore. Fur coat season is on and I’m not too happy about that!

New York, forest green knitted dress

My other look from New York Fashion Week. I can’t get enough of long sleeved mini tube dresses. This one from Sandro has a fresh forest green colour which makes it perfect for the fall weather. I can even imagine wearing it in the winter with black tights. I matched it with red heeled sandals, J.W. Anderson bag and Akollekt jewellery.

This shot was taken outside Tibi show during New York Fashion Week. It was hot but very windy. I was wearing an off shoulder top with a skirt and my main ‘fashion week bag’ from J.W. Anderson via Avenue 32. If you saw me around with the same bag every single day, I’m not ashamed. I literally love it and couldn’t go out without it.

Las Rozas Village Madrid

A few days ago I had the pleasure to visit Las Rozas Village in Madrid, one of the nine Villages, located in Europe’s favourite cities. It’s a luxury outlet center, home to more than 90 boutiques, from highstreet brands to luxury designers like Gucci, Versace, Missoni or the British superbrand Burberry . After visiting their Parisian village a year ago I was extremely happy to explore it in Madrid. What I loved the most was its charming architecture and a big terrace with an amazing view of the mountains, especially beautiful in the late afternoon, where I could have a cold drink after shopping. If you’re worried about hot temperatures in Madrid, especially in the summer, then I can promise it won’t be a big deal in the village. Each boutique has air conditioned inside, and outside you can try delicious icecream from Amorino to cool off.

But let’s get back to boutiques in Las Rozas Village. If you like Spanish brands, not necessairly these super popular highstreet brands which we all know but for example Bimba y Lola or Aristocrazy which is btw. my absolutely favourite jewellery brand of all times, then it’s a perfect place for you to buy great pieces in great prices all year round. It’s like sale season which never ends. Sounds good, right?! Apart from Spanish brands it’s worth to visit Furla ( I’m in love with this black mini tote which you can see on the pictures below) , Gucci, Loewe or some smaller cute stores with cotton tees or home accessories. You will love their products but also each boutique has an interesting and unique interior what makes your shopping experience more fun even if you’re not a big fan of shopping. After that you can eat traditional Spanish tapas or just a healthy green salad. And finally have a face massage in Orogold.
