Tommy Hilfiger FW15 backstage // New York Fashion Week

Posted on February 18, 2015

Two days ago I had the pleasure to take pictures at Tommy Hilfiger FW15 backstage. It was all about American football, mix of sportswear & elegance from the 70’s. For me the most important thing in my everyday style is that balance, to look elegant, but not too smart. Or to look sporty but at the same time classy, elegant and feminine. These are also my feelings about the collection. I could wear every single look from the runway.

Patchwork fur

Posted on February 14, 2015

I love fur. I was always a girl dreading winter and what came with it shapeless coats and asexual outwear. I felt that I could never really be myself in the winter, because I never found any coat that would be ‘me’, and I always felt like I was wearing a garbage bag. This all changed thankfully, this winter when I got this patchwork fur coat. It was sexy and chic, and for the first time in years I felt really myself wearing it outside. Also I forgot to mention, I love Sex and the City and I never forgot the scene when Carrie puts a fur coat over her pyjamas and rushes to Miranda’s house on New Year’s Eve. Since then I bought a few more, and recently this one here – the patchwork gem on my furry kingdom. It’s sexy, edgy and very me. I wore it with AllSaints leather skirt and Rodarte top, to loosen up the elegance factor of the outfit.

On another note,  as you probably know, I’m in NYC for fashion week! Make sure you follow me on Instagram to see what I’m up to during my stay. Oh and keep your fingers crossed, it freezing cold here.  Although thanks to my furry army, I might just keep warm enough.

My pictures published in ELLE // Models of duty

Elle Poland, January 2015, London,  ph. by me

Sometimes I like to be on the other side of the camera. And this was one of those times, when I shot streetstyle pictures at London Men’s Fashion Week of guests and models busying themselves between the shows. It was an exterem pleasure for me to have my pictures published by Elle Poland. It was so important to me, mainly because I used to read Elle as a young girl, with a torchlight under my sheets when my mum had already turned the lights off.

So head over to Elle’s website to see the full story here. And I hope the fun doesn’t end there! I am now off for a month of travelling between fashion weeks, with my camera safely in my luggage. To me photography is like smoking, once you had a first taste, you would want to have more!

Have a lovely weekend guys!

Bomber jacket, St. Germain

Posted on January 24, 2015

I’m so happy to be back in Paris!  Especially during fashion week it always has that unique atmosphere. Fashion is just in the air. It was hard for me to get my body used to that extremely cold temperature, but somehow I managed and I’m still alive!

My latest newbie in the wardrobe – Diesel bomber jacket. I love it for many reasons but mainly it reminds me of being a badass skipping school and wearing a bomber jacket over my neat school uniform. It gives that rock&roll touch to the outfit. Timeless piece.

Sequins for a day

Posted on January 14, 2015

Today it’s Isabel Marant total look I just love the way this grunge jumper breaks the femininity of the sequinned skirt. This is what I love about Isabel Marant, the mixing up of styles makes every outfit special and unique. The next post will probably be from Paris, where I’m heading for Men’s Fashion Week.
Have a nice week !
