My best friend is set to join a big corporate law firm in the fall, and she’s had a bunch of work meetings scheduled throughout the year. The dress code? Obviously suits. She’s been a bit grumpy about having to wear them, but it got me thinking. Suits are a projection of power and sex appeal when worn by women. Think about it, all powerful women have suits: Angela Merkel, Christine Lagarde, bah! even Coco Chanel wore one. So I thought, maybe it was high time I started wearing them, and from the second I put one on I was hooked. Since then, I acquired a few snazzy ensembles with skirt/trousers variations as well as different shapes and fits of blazers.
This Paul Smith suit is my new favourite. Not only am I a big fan of the brand, but also this mustard yellow is a totally hit colour this season. This suit is chic and elegant, but summery and delicate at the same time. It’s the perfect combination, it’s Paul Smith.
I’ve always felt a good connection with the brand through one strongly unifying factor – we both adore Notting Hill. I saw THIS article in the news lately in which Paul mentions that he found Notting Hill to be his home away from home, as did I. When I first visited London a few years back I fell in love with the pastel coloured buildings and little gardens, and I made a promise to myself that if I ever moved to London, this is the place that would become my new home. Fast forward to today, and this is exactly what happened. I feel so fortunate.
As with the reminder of the outfit, I stole Aida’s camisole (something new) but stayed cosy in my favourite Chanel sling backs (something old). The pictures were of course taken in Notting Hill, as they should have been, just around the corner from Paul Smith boutique and atelier on Kensington Park Road. The sun came out and the whole neighbourhood was magically illuminated. Like heaven.

I have fallen in love with this A.W.A.K.E coat the second I laid my eyes on it in Avenue32 store. Ever since I got obsessed with Jacquemus a few seasons ago, I have fallen victim to the ‘cut and sow’ trend of a single piece which has the apperance of being made out of more than one garments. This coat looks like a skirt, top and waistcoat all got mashed together. It’s so interesting and very high fashion. And goes really well with my ultimate favourite Chanel shoes. A match made in heaven or a convinient coincidence I think.
A special mention must go to this Prada bag. The new Prada collection is mesmarising. Very chic, vintage meets 2017 classy. When I laid my eyes on this tote velvet bag, I knew it had to be mine.
New hair ( thank you to Kell Skött Notting Hill for my new gorgeous ginger colour ! ) , new me, new coat and new bag. That’s what I call a good week. And I hope all of you have one too 🙂

I love the idea of building a look based on sneakers, but a look which is more girly or even feminine, not a training outfit. A lot of inspiration for this kind of look can be found on streetstyle photos from fashion weeks from around the world. So many It Girls wear them with suits, long boho dresses or just classic Levi’s jeans. I decided to go for the last option, because as you know jeans are almost like my second skin. I matched them with my brand new and, no surprise, super comfortable Nike Air Max Thea FlyKnit ( black version here ) . They are made with a very light fabric which is breathable and feels like a sock. I’m going to wear them with dresses too, but need to wait for spring to arrive in London. Hope it will be just in time for London Fashion Week, which is just around corner…

As you could notice on my Instagram many times, I love backless tops and dresses. It’s a good option even for colder days, when they are knitted and when you put a blazer or a jacket on it. Mine is from Paul & Joe AW16, which is my favorite piece in the wardrobe these days. I find this look as so it was from late 80’s, it reminds me of Tess McGill from ‚Working Girl’ movie.

The Holiday Season is just as much about fancy dress and partying as it is about spending time with your family and stuffing your face around the Christmas Tree. I always look forward all the parties and especially New Year’s Eve, I look ahead and plan my outfit and always „dress to impress”. But it could be tricky in my case, as I don’t like that much the obvious party wear. I’m not a big fan of head to toe sparkles and tight dresses. My outfit has to be both festive and mine, in the sense that it has to reflect my personal style above the Holiday party style. That’s why I put on an old and classic pair of black jeans (an absolute staple in my wardrobe) together with a shiny top, with an 80s twist, and my new Aquazzura Alix Suede Courts shoes. I am such a huge fan of Aquazzura, their shoes are always perfectly comfortable and really well balanced between classy and edgy. The ones I’m wearing here, I found in Selfridges, because they always stock the best selection of party shoes (and not only). They are great not only for NYE lash, but for any other occasion really. Top buy if you ask me.
