ENGLISH: Bread&Butter is one of the world’s biggest fashion exhibitions. They are held every year in Berlin on the grounds of the historic airport Tempelhof. The most famous streetwear brands from all over the world exhibit their collections, which will hit the stores in the forthcoming year, here in Berlin. On Friday I had the opportunity to see the gigantic swing, that this event is being held with. Each stand was designed by the visual merchendesigner of a given brand – they all looked like real stores, were vibrant with life, drew attention in various ways.
Nowe Melisy które wejdą do sklepów za pół roku, m.in. w panterkę i cekinowe. Na pewno bym sobie kupiła, gdyby tylko rozmiarówka nie zaczynała się od rozmiaru 37.
I would have certainly bought the new Melisa’s shoes (they are going to be in stores in half a year), if the sizes didn’t start with 37.
Stoisko Converse, którego klimat tworzył wystrój wnętrza, ludzie, lecąca muzyka w tle, a w środku kawiarnia, gdzie można było się napić kawy.
Theatmosphere of the converse stand was created by the interior design, people, music and an inside coffee shop.
Plecak Eastpack wykonany z drutów, nie wiem, czy ktokolwiek odważył się go przymierzyć;)
Eastpack backpack made of wires – I don’t know if anyone at all had the courage to try it on.
Buffalo’s sequins collection. I loved the interesting heel-shape of the pumps – narrowing towards the top. In the second picture there are boots – there was a very similar design in the Top Shop’s last year collection.
Stoisko Mustanga przypominało ulice, z słupem z plakatami, z murkiem, gdzie można było sobie usiąść.
Mustang’s stand looked like a street with a bill-post and a brickwork one could sit on.
Vans’ stand was interesting for me, because I really like their shoes – it’s classic that will never go out of fashion. They are as timeless as Convers’ or Nike Air Maxy. Unfortunately we weren’t allowed to take pictures because the new collection didn’t have its official premiere in the media. I managed to take one picture with my iPhone though – you can check it out here.
Half on the Tommy Hilfiger’s stand was taken by an ice rink.
Fashion magazines, books, catalogues and brochures were available at every turn. That is why many visitors took their suitcases on wheels to the exhibition – so that they didn’t have to carry all this themselves.
Kiboots’ shoes from Netherlands.
New Motel Rocks collection will be available, among others, in Top Shop or Nasty Gal. As usual, strong and colorful fabrics’ patterns drew my attention. As it happens, I have three pairs of skinny pants from Motel to show you – stripes, stars and a pattern similar to the Versace collection. They are still waiting for their moment, though.
Szyld nad wejściem do stoiska Fever, zaaranżowanego na normalny sklep.
Signboard over the entrance to the Fever stand, that looked like an actual store.
Buty męskie w kolorowe wzory niemieckiej marki nat-2.
Men’s shoes in a colorful pattern – from a German brand called nat-2
