denim & tartan

Posted on October 19, 2013

After a few very cold days in London, a friendly and much warmer autumn has come back. Okay, I’m not talking about the rain or clouds, because they’re here almost everyday. Higher temperature makes me happy because I can wear most of my favorite clothes without bothering to layer up. To be honest, I don’t like outerwear and layers. Even thinking about wearing more than 2 layers makes me feel uncomfortable.
On the picutures below you can see my two, new, favourite pieces from my wardrobe. First is a checked shirt (I love its babydoll shape!) The second one, are loose fit blue jeans which go well with practically everything. You can be sure to see me wearing them often these days.

Liverpool Street

Posted on October 11, 2013

I’m back in London, but half of my heart stayed in Paris. We took these photos last Sunday on Liverpool Street. I like to compare different cities. So when it comes to London you can’t even know if it’s a working day or Sunday. It is always busy, people work (hard) here every day. See those running people behind me. Maybe that’s why I sometimes forget what day it is today… I don’t really count them.

In Paris it’s different. Sunday is a day when people stay at home and can take a rest. Like in Poland, I would say. The streets are almost empty. We wanted to buy a fresh baguette in Paris on Sunday, but most bakeries were closed. Since I moved to London I forgot that groceries can be closed. Shame on me!

Back to my outfit. I was wearing Sandro sweatshirt which I also spotted on Stockholm Streetstyle in Paris two weeks ago, a black pleated skirt, Sophie Hulme tote and Kurt Geiger boots. And I promise you (and myself as well) that I will try to wear more colorful clothes next month, not only black.

KTZ // London Fashion Week

Posted on September 18, 2013

KTZ was my favourite show during London Fashion Week. The collection consisted of two main parts. First part was dominated by black clothes, with heavy duty, metal accessories such as bracelets big ear hoops and studs (something we expect from KTZ). However it was the second part I liked the most. It consisted of Saudi inspired prints and oriental symbols. Three things caught my eye; firstly layers, thanks to which the clothes looked beautifully in motion. Second thing was prints. I think that printed clothes deserve a total look. It’s either all the way or not at all. And this show was on it with me. The third thing were accessories. Interesting hats inspired by middle-eastern culture till now were worn only by people in the culture. I’m wondering if this trend will hit the streets. Some of the wedges had the same print as the clothes which made the total print look actually total. I’d love to try and wear it myself. Last, the heavy jewellery. It wan’t the most comfortable jewellery I have seen but undoubtedly the most effective one when it comes to aesthetics. And my all time fav: a simple sleeveless dress with stars&geometrical figures print.

London Fashion Week

Posted on September 16, 2013

It’s Fashion Week time now, and this means I’m so busy all the time, running around the place, taking streetstyle pictures and attending shows. If you follow me on Instagram you probably noticed I have been to a few exciting shows like Mark Fast, KTZ, Jean-Pierre Braganza, Top Shop Unique and Krystof Strozyna.
These are the only pictures of myslef I managed to take since Friday (thanks Shini ! ) . It was before the Top Shop Unique show in Regent’s Park. Such a beautiful venue, one of the best shows yet. I was wearing my Acne sweatshirt, MISBHV leather shorts and Alexander Wang bag. I’ll show you more photos as soon as I can.

I have some big news today ! has finally landed and is ready to launch. From now on, every time you decide to check my blog you can admire its new look & design. Me and my friend, a photographer and graphic designer, Marcin Socha have been working on it for a long time now, and I hope all our hard work has paid off ! Thoughts? This is probably a good moment to say a few words about Marcin. He has been helping me out with my blog ever since. would not be what it is now, if it hadn’t been for Marcin’s help and expertise.

Today’s post shows the feature which was published in Elle Poland and Viva Moda. The pictures were taken by Adam Kaniowski in a beautiful interior of House of Hackney in London. The articles were about my blog and style and how they have been changing over the past few years. I was wearing Celine espadrilles and Isabel Marant shirt. I also insisted on snapping my all time favourite Poplin shirt.

I would like to thank everyone at Elle and Viva Moda for featuring me in their September issues. It was a please but fun as well.
