Fur coat is the only variant of outwear I deem acceptable to wear in the winter. I’ve always hated winter for this reason, big, baggy, shapeless coats everyone wears. Now, fur coats is a different story. They always look extravagant, no matter what shape or colour. They can transform a simple jeans & t-shirt outfit into a runway ensemble, making the wearer look expensive and chic. Another thing is, fur is actually the only outwear that will keep me warm. All the wool in the world couldn’t make the goosebumps on my fragile silhouette disappear, but fur is a miracle, instantly makes me warm and helps survive the cold months.
I grew up in Poland, where in the winter, the temperature would go down to -20 degrees at times, and I remember clearly, how my mum and granny would tell me: “Alice, make sure you get yourself a nice fur coat when you grow up to keep you warm for the rest of your days”. The family wisdom always checks out. Now I’m in my 20s and a proud owner of 4 beautiful fur coats. I wear them in turns, whichever suits the outfit and the weather. Although I wouldn’t say no to a 5th member to join my little furry family. I like to plunder farfetch.com in search of the next fur coat. So far I have my eye on THIS and THIS . Maybe Santa will bring me one, I was a good girl, I promise.
We took these photos on Portobello Road during one of the warm and sunny days. I’m really happy with the London weather at the moment, it almost feels like summer is approaching, not winter. But I don’t mind 15 degrees and sun right now.

You know how much I love denim, from skinny jeans, high-waisted blue jeans to denim jackets. But I’ve been looking for the perfect pair of dungarees for quite a long time. Finally found them, while doing a little shopping in Soho in New York last September. I popped into the Paige store in Soho. It was love at first sight. It took me some time to photograph them for the blog though, 4 months to be exact. Also in Soho, but this time in London, not New York. I was wearing them with a white boho top, Louis Vuitton Twist bag from the Cruise collection and Daniel Wellington watch. You can never go wrong with a classic black leather-strap watch. It’s a timeless piece that will return to season after season. What’s more you can get it ( in any other style and colour ) 15% OFF with a code ‘alicepoint’ at checkout. Happy shopping & Happy weekend! x

Because of the lovely London weather we’re currently experiencing, I had to say a temporary farewell to bare legs and short skirts, for the benefit of long trousers. At the moment I’m all about skinny high waisted jeans. They shape my silhouette well and keep me fairly warm, what else to wish for? This Saint Laurent silk shirt was on my wish list ever since I saw the dress version of it at the Saint Laurent catwalk show last season. I have never seen a lipstick print, and I must say, I fell head over heels for it. It was bound to brighten up any fall outfit, and here’s the result.
Another item ticked off from my wish list is this Saint Laurent Baby Monogram bag (I sense a recurring theme, right?) I was getting excited about in my second last post. I ordered it from farfetch.com and it’s finally here and it’s finally mine. I was actually on the verge of getting this very bag in lipstick print too, but in the end I decided you could never go wrong with black, so I chose the classic timeless version. Hence I allowed myself more playfulness to be directed to the top half of my body and went for the lipstick print shirt.
We took these photos in the very heart of Liverpool Street and showstoppingly interrupted the traffic, amidst all the crazy honking and shouting we managed to take these pictures. See the result yourself!

Paris is always a good idea! Two weeks ago I had a pleasure to visit Paris to take part in the shooting of the new video commercial for the launch of the ultra lightweight suitcase by Samsonite. It was a great experiance to see the creative process of this kind of initiative and meet the amazing people from Samsonite. For the first time Samsonite used drones to enlight the weight of the suitcase. It was incredible to watch the suitcases fly over Paris, I have never experienced anything like it, it was even more like an artistic performance than a commercial. Check out the result HERE.

As you know, I pride myself in being a “tee and jeans” kinda girl. Every outfit I choose is rather simplistic and basic, with an edgy element. But the base stays the same. If I could pick only one item which I would have to wear till the rest of my life it would be a pair of jeans, they go so well with everything. A stone cold proof is that trends pass and go, one season bell sleeves are in, the other are out, but jeans stay forever. It’s only the shape that changes.
So today I wanted to show you my wish list slash mood board, which I made up while browsing Farfetch – my favourite online shopping destination. It features the timeless straight leg blue jeans and some of my other favourite items of clothing; a simple white top, a sexy lingerie and a seductive red lipstick. Combined, they all provide a timeless outfit, which goes well with all hairstyles and skin shades. I will also tell you a secret. This sweet as sugar Saint Laurent Baby Monogram bag will be soon mine. I’m so excited I could jump off walls. It’s such a “me” bag I think; small and cute but edgy at the same time like babydoll meets rebel girl. It’s also such a great gift idea, if only boyfriends put these under our Christmas trees instead of perfumes year in year out.
