Sheepskin coat

Posted on December 12, 2013

As you know, I’m not a big fan of outwear. Even if it’s freezing outside I would stubbornly wear shorts and cut out shoes. I guess it’s mainly because I HATE HATE HATE winter. My home country may be one of the coldest in midland Europe but my heart belongs to palm trees (click) and sandy beaches. Okay, I’m getting off topic.

Going back to my outfit. As you know, I’m not a big fan of outwear. But this time I fell head over hills for this coat. It reminds me of a sheep. So on the pictures, I look like a fluffy black sheep dumped in the middle of Portobello Road ūüôā

Paris, St. Germain // Maje skirt

Posted on December 4, 2013

I’ve been waiting with posting these pictures for over a month ( click here¬†) . When I look at them I miss not only Paris but summery weather as well.¬† It was about 20 Degrees and I could easily pull off bare legs with boots and enjoy walking with my sweet sister in St. Germain. There were so many great spots to shoot, that’s why I couldn’t resist to post 9 pictures this time. Yeah, I know my outfit looks almost the same on each of them, but the background is different and each time more beautiful. Hope you like it too!

Coming back to my outfit. I was wearing a leather skirt from Maje, a white shirt from The scarletroom, Kurt Geiger boots and Sophie Hulme bag (the first I had, just classic black leather version). Kinda school girl look. I wish I could dress like that the whole year, this style is the closest to my heart. No warm coats, jackets and scarfs please! There are only 6 months left till spring in Europe …

Stella McCartney mohair sweater

I realised some time ago, that I haven’t taken any outfit photos in Portobello for a long time, which is actually my neighbourhood where I spend most of my time. For me, it’s the most inspiring place in London. Time goes its own way here. It’s almost like a village, you can live here, work and get all things¬†done. Beautiful architecture, colourful houses, cute little shops, cafes and people always make me feel happy. Now, let’s talk about my outfit. I’m wearing the cosiest Stella McCartney mohair sweater I’ve ever had. It’s absolutely a perfect piece to wear during cold days. This time I matched it with black skinny¬†jeans, black boots and a new bag from Kurt Geiger.

I would also like to introduce you to Vestiaire Collective, an online platform where you can buy and sell designer clothes, bags, shoes and other accessories. You can find amazing pieces from designers like Alexander Wang, Celine, Chanel, Stella McCartney and many others. I’m sure it happens very¬†often, that you realise you absolutely need a pair of shoes, a bag or some other piece, that is sold out in every store around the world. Then you browse thousands of online stores in hope that maybe there is one last item in your size, but in fact you find nothing. Vestiare Collective is the best place to buy all¬†of these last season ‘must have’ pieces, but also current season collections at great prices. What’s more, it’s a platform where you can sell stuff you don’t wear anymore in the easiest possible way.

White coat

Posted on November 19, 2013

I have a thing for big oversized coats. I have a few in my closet and I do wear them quite a lot. The only thing with them is that sometimes they may look a bit shapeless so you need to be really careful what you wear them with to avoid the ‘blob’ look. The coat from the pictures is so girly and innocent that I had to come up with something to make it look a bit me style, with a bit of edge & a bit of elegance at the same time. The lacy cabaret-like shorts are a good counterbalance to the innocence of the coat. I really like them, they are fierce and sexy.

I tied the coat with a belt when its buttoned up to give it a bit more shape and edge. I think it looks good. What do you think?

My new Sophie Hulme pony tote  is  heaven. I have developed an unhealthy obsession with these bags and I currently have two, and they are my favs. The best selection of Sophie Hulme bags you can find in Young British Designers.

Prada for Printemps

Posted on November 10, 2013

I have just come back from my short trip to Paris, and this time it was just as exciting as it gets. I was invited to assist the reveal of the Prada Christmas window display at Printemps department store. And to make everyone jealous, the special guest invited to the event was the absolutely amazing Gwyneth Paltrow.

I must say I love Christmas window displays. They remind me that Xmas is approaching and are sort of a ‘get ready’ sign. Every year they get more and more stunning. Turning more into works of art rather than just a mere display. Every year Printemps organises Christmas window shows with different designer. This year it is Prada. I was ready to be stunned but what I witnessed was just beyond my wildest dreams. Christmas in it’s finest. Check out some pictures I took during my visit at the Printemps.
