New York, Grand Street

Have a nice week everyone!
A view from my room was breathtaking, on the first picture you can see my view while taking a shower. Then me and Jim in Soho. And finally a shot of pumpkins, because it’s all about Haloween in NY recently. Then early (sunny) morning in Chelsea where I moved in for the weekend. I feel like home in Chelsea, it’s much more cosy than Soho.
Last two shots. Sunrise in Manhattan. I always come to New York for a few days only, so it’s hard to change my brain into a new time zone. I wake up at 4 am and go to sleep at 8 pm. As a result I can watch these beautiful sunrises in NY which are always amazing. Then me in Soho wearing Alice x Olivia coat when the temperature went 10 Degrees down during one night. it was freezing cold.
When I heard the news about Alexander Wang x H&M collaboration I was extremely excited. Alexander Wang has been one of my favourite designers for years now. It was a huge pleasure to be invited to New York for the lanch party and the whole event including a wonderfull conference during which he answered many questions and gave an insight to his work. That evening the collection had its first presentation featuring parkour performance and Missy Eliot’s gig. In the end Alexander came out and run a loop track which was really sweet and underlined the sportiness of the collection.
For the evening I was wearing a sequined dress from Isabel Marant, Valentino bag and H&M x Isabel Marant boots.
Oh, and one other thing. I was accomodated in Mondrian Soho, one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever had a chance to stay in. New York, it’s always a pleasure! Thank you H&M for having me!
I came back from NY a few days. I had a great time during fashion week, not only because of the shows I had a chance to see, but also because I could explore NY better than one month ago and spend a time with my sister who I haven’t seen for a long time. I fell in love in NY more than ever. We’ve been staying in a lovely The Jade hotel in Greenwich Village, as I wrote on my Instagram one of my favourite area in New York. Maybe it’s because it brings me back Portobello and Notting Hill. The architecture is quite similiar, there is the same artistic atmosphere in the air and it’s more green than other parts of Manhattan. You know that flowers and trees always make me smile and I just felt like home in West Village.
Let’s talk about my outfit. I was wearing my number one piece from A/W14 season, a jumper from Isabel Marant runway collection I’ve been thinking since I saw it in Paris last February. It turned out to be super warm, oversized and suits to all bottoms I wear everyday, from trousers to skirts. Sounds like a perfect autumn jumper! This time I matched it with a simple black skirt, high heel sandals and a gold hoop earrings which I wear pretty much everyday. They give that cool bohemian look and brings my back this video clip. ( 2:35 sec ! ). Stay tuned for more pictures from New York!
